Novy Urengoy Airport is recognized as the best airport of the year

The terminal of I.M. Gubkin Novy Urengoy Airport, implemented by the general contractor LMS Group of Companies two years ago, won the nomination «The best airport with passenger traffic from 1 to 2 million passengers per year» The National award «Air Gates of Russia», which was held as part of the National Exhibition and Forum of Civil Aviation Infrastructure NAIS. Despite the difficult conditions of the Far North and the sanctions restrictions, a new modern and comfortable terminal with associated infrastructure was built on time. It is equipped with three telescopic ladders and 12 check-in counters, 11 elevators and 4 escalators, as well as all necessary equipment for passenger screening and service.
