Facade works in the new airport Voronezh were completed by 60%

The LMS Group of Companies, the general contractor, continues to build a new terminal complex of domestic air lines of the Peter I Voronezh International Airport at a high pace.

On July 19, the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, inspected the construction of the new terminal, noting that it was going according to plan. In July, the builders completed facade work by 60%. The stained glass windows on the facade of the new terminal building are 77% completed. Finishing works are continuing in the new terminal: installation of partitions, doors, suspended ceilings, as well as wall cladding and painting. Specialists have started the installation of technical and inspection equipment in the checkpoint building. The landscaping of the territory is 35% completed: workers install a fence, lay asphalt concrete, and green the territory.

— As the concept of the terminal was presented in the picture, so it corresponds to reality. It is very important. Here, colleagues did not save money, it turns out a very functional terminal with modern technologies. There is enough space, convenient places to wait, a convenient territory near the terminal, a large number of Parking lots,» said Governor Alexander Gusev.

General Director of LLC «MAV named Peter I» Roman Frolenko and LMS project manager Baris Sarikaya guided the governor along the passenger's route. Well-thought-out design solutions for the arrangement of check-in areas, baggage handling and waiting areas will avoid the formation of queues. The presence of 15 check-in counters and 5 boarding gates, two of which are equipped with telescopic ladders, will allow the terminal to serve up to 2 million passengers per year.

Alexander Gusev was shown a design visualization of the interior at different points of the terminal. All service areas, including parking and the forecourt, are adapted to serve people with limited mobility.
