The new Airport in Magadan is ready for 50%

The General Contractor LMS Group of Companies is proceeding at a high pace the construction of a new airport complex at Magadan International Airport.

As of March 2024, the facility is 50% ready.

«In total, 350 people work at the facility, and another hundred people are expected to be replenished in the near future. 50% of the total amount of work has already been completed. They intend to complete the facility in December 2024. To date, the frame of the building has already been completely erected, interstory ceilings, engineering main networks have been laid on the street, one of the parking lots has been paved. There will be two parking lots in total - one short-term, the second long-term. Their total occupancy will be 250 parking spaces,» said Elchin Sefatov, Deputy head of the construction project.

He added that the building will have three floors. On the first floor there is a baggage check-in and handling area, where two baggage collection and acceptance tapes will be installed. On the second floor there will be office and technical premises, a business hall, a security corridor with exits to the teletraps. The third floor is a waiting and relaxation room. There will be cafes, shops and a great view of the runway.
