Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin praised the construction of an airport in Magadan

The general contractor LMS Group of Companies is proceeding at a high pace the construction of a new airport complex at Magadan International Airport.

«The speed of work and the quality are impressive,» is how Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin assessed the progress of construction of the new airport terminal. The future luggage compartment has been turned into a presentation hall. The tour of the facility for distinguished guests was conducted by the head of the LMS project Ilkhan Musa Ozkoch. 

Evgeny Yankilevich, Deputy General Director of Novaport, noted: «It was developed by a Russian company, has a modern architectural appearance, at the request of Governor Sergei Konstantinovich, both the history and the development potential of the Magadan region are reflected, the terminal itself is more than 14 thousand square meters, two teletraps, which allows to serve passengers in difficult climatic conditions.»

In order not to disrupt the deadlines, the general contractor for the construction of the facility, the LMS Group of Companies, clearly planned the supply of building materials to the facility. 1100 tons of metal structures, 9 thousand tons of rebar were delivered by rail to Vladivostok, then by sea to Magadan.

Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Russian Government, said: «I understand that the situation is not easy: sometimes, there are issues related to the rise in price. Of course, we must keep all this under control, but I am absolutely sure that for Magadan, for all important airports in the country, it will be such a beautiful, if you like, anchor project. A wonderful airport. It can be seen that it is made wisely, with an approach. I am very pleased that Russian specialists did its design.»
