The construction progress of the new Airport Mineralnye Vody amounted to 77% in November
The General Contractor LMS Group of Companies is proceeding at a high pace the construction of a new airport terminal complex for domestic air lines of the Mineralnye Vody International Airport.
The progress of construction and installation works at the facility for the second decade of November amounted to 77%.
The installation of external translucent facades, as well as the installation of curved frames made of high-strength aluminum alloy with tempered laminated glass, has been completed by 80%.
The installation of the main roof of the Airport has been completed, and metal structures for the equipment have been fully installed. Decorative letters «Mineral Waters» are installed.
Builders are carrying out work on the interior decoration of public and technical areas of the new Airport:
- laying of wall tiles, laying of floor porcelain stoneware, as well as laying of slabs of curlite;
- the work on filling and painting the walls is being completed;
- the reinforcement of metal pipes has been completely completed, the installation of glass partitions has begun;
- work has begun on the installation of the rack ceiling in the main hall of the Airport;
- finishing works in the mother and child room have been completed.
Work on the installation of internal engineering systems is in full swing. Installation of automatic fire extinguishing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems has been completed by 90%. Commissioning of fan coils and related equipment is being carried out, and the laying of pipes for heating systems has also been completed. The workers started the commissioning of the fire alarm system.
Work is underway on the installation of internal electrical systems, the installation of perforated trays and cable laying has been completed. Fixtures are being installed, plus transformer panels and other equipment are being installed and disconnected.
The installation of the baggage collection system has been completed, and the installation of the baggage collection system has begun. All escalators have been installed. Of the 23 elevators, only 5 remain to be installed.
The restoration of the concrete pavement in the area of the outpost has been fully completed.
All work on gas supply to the block-modular boiler room has been completed, and a boiler room for heat supply will be launched in the near future. Work on the installation of outdoor networks, including communication networks, has been fully completed.
The landscaping work is being completed:
- more than 20 thousand m2 of asphalt concrete pavement has been laid with the installation of side stones;
- the automatic irrigation system is fully installed; landscaping works are being carried out;
- installation of access equipment for cars in parking lots begins.
852 specialists are involved in the facility. 55 units of special equipment are used.
