Rostechnadzor issued a conclusion on the compliance of the new exit from Ufa to the M-5 Ural highway

The West Ural Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor) conducted a final inspection of the facility «Public Highway of regional significance of the Republic of Bashkortostan – a new exit from the city of Ufa to the federal highway M-5 «Ural» («Eastern exit») Stage 1.1» to the general contractor of the construction of LMA LLC, which is part of the LMS Group of Companies.

As part of the facility:

• a 1.2 km long road tunnel with a unique 66-meter depth in the underground part;
• a 470-meter-long bridge crossing over the Ufa River with a unique 126-meter navigable span;
• an overpass with 66 reinforced concrete supports with a length of 2.1 km.

The length of the 4-lane road is about 14 km, taking into account two major road interchanges.

It was established that the work was completed in full, no violations of mandatory requirements were revealed.

On March 18, 2024, the Department issued a conclusion on the compliance of the constructed capital construction facility with the requirements of the project documentation.

The commissioning of the highway overpass will ensure the development of the tourism cluster of the Republic of Bashkortostan, relieve urban and regional roads, increase capacity by 22,700 vehicles per day, increase safety and comfort for residents of several regions.

Vostochny Exit is the largest infrastructure project in the Volga Federal District.
