The Chairman of the hockey club Avangard Alexander Krylov visited the construction site of the Multifunctional Sports Complex Arena Omsk and evaluated the results achieved by the general contractor, the LMS Group of Companies.
The Chief Engineer of LMS, Igor Legkonets, said that at the moment the Arena is 77% ready. The builders are already at the final stage of work in almost all areas. They are actively laying utilities and interior decoration, and simultaneously on all floors. Also elevators and escalators are being mounted. There are more than 1500 people working at the site. All works are going strictly according to the schedule.
»Now the technological slab of the ice field is in an active stage, we are already laying the pipes of cold supply, which in the near future will be poured with concrete, and the base for the technological ice will be prepared. We expect it by about mid-June,» said Igor Legkonets, a Chief Engineer of the general contractor.
Alexander Krylov was satisfied with what he saw and said that he had no concerns about the deadline.
»I am impressed by the scale of the Arena, now you can feel with your own eyes how big it will be and how comfortable it will be for our fans. In terms of infrastructure I have no fears, all we have to do is to pass this stage and put this beautiful Arena into operation,» - said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HC Avangard Alexander Krylov.
The media cube that will be installed in the Аrena is already complete, assembled and tested. The work outside is in full swing: the workers continue to install the facade, and as soon as it is finished, a media screen will be installed on the building.
The landscaping around the future sports complex is actively working. The specialists of LMS are laying the paving slabs and installing the lighting supports. The facility is scheduled to be completed in early September 2022.
