LMS Technologies: Building Information Modelling

The construction industry is rapidly moving into digitalization. To implement projects, the specialists of the LMS Group of Companies use Building Information Modeling (BIM). This implies the creation of an informational 3D model of the object, to which all participants in the construction process have access, and filling the model with information data — structures, communications and technical parameters with volumes, weight, manufacturer, which are then transferred to the calculation programs. Our specialists work mainly in the Revit program.

To create a full-fledged BIM model of objects, specialized specialists of the LMS Group of Companies are involved – architects, engineers and project managers, since designers do not have competence in designing water supply and sanitation systems, heating, electrical equipment and electric lighting, as well as ventilation and air conditioning.

Through BIM technologies, the general contractor solves many tasks and can predict the final result even before the start of construction and installation work, namely to:

  • automate the design process;
  • coordinate project sections;
  • control the resources, timing and cost of construction;
  • establish a productive relationship between the general contractor, the general designer and the technical customer;
  • accompany project maintenance;
  • plan and carry out repairs;
  • ensure decommissioning.

For our customers, the use of BIM technologies in the implementation of a project is an opportunity to visualize an object before construction begins, monitor the progress of design and construction based on a BIM model in real time, choose optimal technical solutions and monitor the compliance of design solutions and construction results.

Confirming its reputation as a reliable general contractor, LMS Group fulfills its obligations to the customers, who entrust us with the implementation of their projects.
