At the construction site of the new air terminal complex of the international airport Voronezh named after Peter the Great the monolithic works of the «zero» cycle are being completed. The specialists of the general contractor, LMS Group, are strictly following the deadlines approved in the project.
To strengthen the walls of the pit and to protect against groundwater penetration specialists use the Larsen sheet sinking technology. More than 1,300 linear meters of sheet piles have already been sunk at the site. Excavation has amounted to over 7,000 m³.
The construction of the basement of the building is still in progress. The laying of internal utility systems has been completed. The erection of the foundations is in progress (the laying of the concrete floor preparation with sealing). More than 2,170 m³ of concrete has been laid with reinforcement of different diameters, with a total weight of 340 tons.
Next week LMS specialists will begin installing the formwork for the foundation slab of the future complex.
More than 80 specialists of the general contractor, including engineers and technicians are working on the construction site.
